My Stitched Mess

My Stitched Mess credit goes to AIMEE RAY.
When I first saw Aimee Ray's Stitched Mess I thought it was so cute! I've always wondered what to do with leftover embroidery floss and here's the solution! :)
Basically what this is is leftover embroidery floss stitched down (so they won't fall off :) and framed in an embroidery hoop. You can decorate the borders of the leftover floss circle with embroidery stitches and as well decorate the outside hoop (the frame) with ribbon. It's a very simple project, great way to reuse materials, and a one of a kind piece of art!

Update on blog: This blog has been great so far! I'm still working on my "freebies" section if you haven't noticed (it's been there one day and the next it's gone.). I've been having troubles on figuring out how to have an indiviaul section for it. But don't worry! I'll figure it out. :) Thank you for reading this blog! I LOVE support! :)

  1. P.S. To my readers- I think I may have not cleary said that I made this specific "stitched mess". This is my version from the inspiration of Aimee Ray's. Also, you can check out Aimee's blog; it's under the "crafty blog" section and titled little dear tracks. :)
